GET POLITICAL -- VOTE FOR YOURSELF

Like most voters, you probably wished for a "None of the Above" choice on your paper ballot. The second best way to express your discontent with the candidates of the Entrenched Parties and the minor ones, is to vote for yourself. You can write-in your name for each office. Be sure to put the initials, "LDR" after your name for League for a Democratic Republic. It's a sure bet you will not be elected. The purpose is to create a "buzz" in the hyper-controlled media that LDR is here to stay, using every means possible to get our word out.

When you are finished voting, kindly send us an email, listing the offices for which you wrote in your name. We'll keep a running tally, and announce the "winner" (you are all winners) for each office.

If you really want to get the word out about LDR, please JOIN (upper right corner of the Home page), move to your Profile and add some stats, such as the County in which you are a registered voter and your email address. Be sure to substitute :at" for the @ symbol in your email address. You are also welcome and encouraged to copy the Home Page from the text beginning with "LEAGUE FOR A DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC" to the last sentence, "We're all in the same lifeboat." and post it on appropriate websites, blogs and forums.
